Copper frames & Sgraffito Terracotta Leaves from Petra of Scorched Earth.
Thankfully my order from Petra showed up yesterday...
I think her focals were just the right answer for the copper frames
I showed you in the last post.

Her beautiful work certainly solved a problem for me.
Thank you, Petra!

I just wanted to make you look at them twice. ;)
Fantastic Antique Blue Spikes from Petra...
Copper frames with African beads...ear wires from Vintage....with a little hammering from me.
More leaf charms from Petra....these are really long....
Long, I tell ya. Long.
And these next ones are feeling left out, as the Petra touch is missing.
They are on a sterling silver wire frame...with lots of bone and coconut beads.
Waxed linen holds the center beads.

These are really long too...but pretty lightweight.
Update: I've just added a coupon code for the shop.
Use the code PRESIDENTSDAY all this week for 10% off.
And beginning Friday, February 22, the shop will be in vacation mode for a few weeks!

You'll be glad you did!

Carpe Diem!

Whooop!! I love them, Lela!! Nothing gives me such a thrill, as seeing my doodles having a good working over in talented hands!! Wonderful job, and as you say, they go really beautifully with the copper.

Aren't Petra's pieces so great to work with? You've given them a lightness and bounce with these new designs.

Oh so you're addicted to Petra's goodies too, are you? Once you start with them, beware, nothing looks finished without them! They look perfect in your frames. Just right!

Love the looks of these - free-spirited. They look heavy enough to feel and light enough not to give you a headache, perfect. And I love the variation on a theme you did...sometimes it's just the best way as one piece kind of spring boards you into the next one.
